It’s something you’re born with. And if you don't feel these problem solving and emotional intelligence skills are where they need to be, don’t stress. Executive Function, or EF for short, can be be practiced, improved on and will continue to develop throughout your life. So, what do I mean by Executve Function skills? Good question here’s a list of examples when we talk about EF:

  • Task Initiation & Completion

  • Problem Solving

  • Flexibility

  • Communication

  • Organization

  • Attention Control

  • Impulse Control

  • Emotional Control

  • Working Memory

  • Stress Management

  • Conflict Management

Now, you’re probably wondering if those things aren’t getting better fast enough on their own, what can I do?!? Fear not! There are lots of tips and tricks to work on those skills individually or as a group, depending on what areas you need to improve. Skills related to organization and tasks can be improved with planners and calendars. Stress and emotional regulation can see positive changes with self care, meditation and deep breathing exercises.

But, the most effective way to navigate all of these Executive Function skills is with 1:1 Coaching at Courageous EDGE. Contact us now for your FREE Discovery meeting to find out more!
